Because I love, love, LOVE this picture and because I love getting the mail, I've decided to leave this particular comment on this particular post!

Dearest Susan-

Guess what I got the other day?! An incredible, BEAUTIFUL bead/charm... sent from the very woman who has shared her experiences with me and so many others this past year- straight from beautiful Seattle!!! WOO-HOO!!

I can't wait to put the necklace together to see it in all it's glory- all colors, all shapes, all sizes, each one sent with love and squeezed in next to each other.

Really and truly Susan, I have been touched by you and the words you have shared with me for so very long now. After reading your note and staring at the sweet little bag full of sweet little goodies, I knew. You get it. You absolutely, 100% get it. And that makes my heart soar up and around and all over. To see your signature, to hold a rock that was found on a beach during thoughtful conversation, to read the reasons you chose the charm you chose... you get it. It's so incredible to me how connections like this can happen without ever meeting someone face-to-face. How reading a short comment, seeing a photo on a blog- how those things can make one feel better when everything else feels not so great.

Thank you for being a part of this. Thank you for sharing bits of you. Thank you for inspiring me, for blessing me from afar. I will cherish your note, your bead/charm, the wishing rock. I will hold them and I will think about you and yours- and it will feel good.
