Spring Cleaning

Well. It's spring. I don't know about you, but spring is my least favorite of the seasons. The weather usually seems to be disappointing (we're back to the low 50's by the way)and I always feel some pressure to get things done! You know, like spring cleaning and accomplishing all those house projects that we saved up last winter and planned to do when the weather got better. That would be now, but now it's just rainy. Plus the weeds are growing like gangbusters. Every time I look out the window I get this little squeeze in my stomach and think how in the world am I going to get it all done? I know I should be out there pulling and plucking and trimming, but the weather. It's just no good I tell you. And I know this is messed up thinking, but the birds and all their singing at the crack of dawn? It's a little irritating. I have enough problems getting a good night's sleep around here.

And then there are the boxes that I'm trying to sort through. What do you do with a giant Glad bag full of my formerly loved stuffed animals? What should I do with the boxes and boxes of teaching stuff? Not to mention my teaching clothes. Or what about Chris's boxes labeled "Mostly Useless" or even better, simply "Useless"? He wants to hold on to them, of course. Ahh, the joy of cleaning out!

Ok, enough whining. I do enjoy all the pastel colored flowers popping up everywhere. Now, if I could just do something about those weeds! :)

That's funny because I love Spring, especially because Oklahoma is so uber bland in the winter. It's like a dream when color graces this tornado tough midwestern state...

But, I sympathize with the cleaning out of boxes...such a drab task!
